About us

about us

The Bakerloos is an award-winning architecture and design collective founded in 2016. The members have a keen interest in devising new methodologies, processes, and tools to approach the built and unbuilt environment through the power of collaboration and collective imagination. The Bakerloos seek to rethink our engagement with public spaces and landscapes through inclusive concepts, including alternative cartography and public participation in the physical and digital realm. Together they have curated mapping and drawing workshops as well as built installations and produced several award-winning competition entries. The collective has taught at the Bartlett School of Architecture and Oxford School of Architecture on the Architecture and Landscape Architecture programmes. Their clients and collaborators include Jan Kattein Architects, Haringey Council, STORE, RIBA, UCL, Oxford School of Architecture, Colvestone Primary School and Brook House Primary School.
